The Severnside Veterinary Group has grown and evolved to become a highly respected Group with qualified Veterinary Surgeons all dedicated to the care of ALL animals throughout the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire. The Practice continues to develop using new technologies, information and experiences. As standards in the veterinary medicine improve, we seek to meet the changing needs and expectations of our clients whilst maintaining traditional standards of service.
The Healthcare Team
Veterinary medicine is moving towards preventative health care and this philosophy is one that the Practice has wholeheartedly embraced. We want to work in partnership with our clients to ensure that they enjoy the companionship of a healthy pet for many years.
Patient Care
A visit to the Vet can be stressful for both the owner and the pet. We do all we can to reduce anxiety and aim always to provide care in an unhurried and courteous environment. Owners are encouraged to ask any questions they want and a Vet or Nurse can always be contacted by telephone if needed. Pets left with us for surgery or other procedures are treated gently and with respect. Analgesia is routinely given to minimise discomfort during recovery. All patients are housed in clean, hygienic kennels with plenty of bedding and we have available a range of good quality foods to tempt even the most delicate of appetites.
